Meet Dr. Heather
Most women in midlife don’t need more information.
They need someone who can put it all together.
That’s what I do.
I am uniquely trained to offer fully integrated midlife care, bringing together:
- Menopause medicine (hormonal and non-hormonal)
- Integrative nutrition and weight management
- Lifestyle medicine grounded in physiology
- Care-team coordination and advocacy
- Whole-system understanding of chronic disease, metabolism, and biochemistry
Not as separate services—but as one cohesive plan.
The Training That Makes This Possible
I trained in Emergency Medicine, where you learn what happens when the body can no longer compensate.
You see the end results of years of ignored insulin resistance, untreated inflammation, sleep deprivation, hormonal instability, vascular dysfunction, and dismissed symptoms—especially in women. Emergency medicine forces you to think across systems. There is no room for tunnel vision.
That systems-based training is my foundation.
Before medicine, I studied biochemistry, and I’m the daughter of a biochemist. I think in pathways, feedback loops, and tradeoffs. I care deeply about why something works—and what it affects downstream.
That’s why midlife matters so much.
Midlife is not a cosmetic issue.
It is not a minor quality-of-life inconvenience.
It is a physiologic inflection point, where estrogen loss, stress load, metabolic strain, inflammation, and chronic disease risk converge. If you don’t understand how these systems interact, you miss early warning signs—and women only get help once they’re in crisis.
My work is about preventing that moment and stepwise dealing with it so you feel and thrive the best you can.
